You have two options for this step. You can either pee into a small, clean container and then dip the test end of the strip into the urine sample. Or, you can pass the end of the strip briefly through your urine stream. If you choose the latter option, make sure to hold the strip downward with the test pad pointing into the urine stream for 1-2 seconds, ensuring that the test pad is completely wet.

Step 3: Blot the strip
